The Senior Electrical Engineer — Facilities Design role is onsite in Chantilly, VA; compensation is $135,000–$175,000 per year, plus performance bonuses. The engineer leads electrical design for complex facilities projects, serving as the discipline lead and technical reviewer while guiding projects from site surveys through commissioning. The role designs power, lighting, fire alarm, security, and telecom/data systems, coordinates with clients and project partners, and mentors junior staff.

What you'll do

• Lead electrical design teams and ensure technical integrity of deliverables
• design and specify power distribution, UPS, generators, grounding, lighting, fire alarm, security, and telecom/data systems
• conduct site surveys and prepare technical reports
• perform SKM and AGI32 calculations
• review project quality
• coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary partners
• support bidding and construction administration
• use AutoCAD and Revit for models and as-built documentation
• mentor junior talent.
