Trade Manager

The Trade Manager role is onsite at Neptune Pacific’s office in Sausalito, California. Pay is $90,000–$100,000 per year, with a discretionary bonus potentially included. The role uses market and customer analysis to develop pricing strategies, support profitability and growth, and coordinate commercial decisions across the freight network.

What you'll do

• Analyze market trends, trade lanes, customer requirements, and competitor pricing
• develop pricing strategies
• analyze service, trade, and customer performance
• manage ocean freight quotations and pricing exceptions
• negotiate rates and commercial terms
• monitor pricing performance and margins
• maintain tariffs, rate databases, contracts, and accessorial pricing
• conduct freight manifest and pricing audits
• support Commercial and Sales teams
• manage customer enquiries and disputes
• use CargoWise and CRM reporting
• coordinate vessel schedule information.
