Collision Body Technician

Job overview

The Collision Body Technician is an onsite role based in Savannah, GA. Compensation is $21 - $30 per hour flat rate, supporting the Gerber Collision & Glass team. This role exists to provide an exceptional customer experience through the meticulous assessment and quality repair of vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition. The technician disassembles, repairs, and reassembles vehicles while maintaining high standards of speed and quality.

What you'll do

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates.
• Use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins.
• Realign car chassis and frames.
• Remove damaged sections and replace with new or aftermarket parts.
• Replace or repair glass, windshields, and interior parts.
• Weld and attach parts.
• Prepare and repaint vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles after repair.
