Operations Accounting Analyst

The Operations Accounting Analyst role is onsite in Aurora, IL. Compensation is not specified. The position reports to the Manufacturing Campus Controller and partners with operations leadership. The analyst tracks and explains production costs and activity so plant leaders and the accounting team can support variance reporting, expense management, inventory accuracy, and financial close processes.

What you'll do

• Compile production information and maintain job-transaction expense data
• analyze manufacturing variances and provide weekly material and labor reporting with root-cause commentary for variances exceeding +/-10%
• compare job costs and run rates with standards
• review routing and actual costs
• maintain Bills of Materials and conduct quarterly accuracy audits
• support inventory counts and reconciliation
• assist with monthly close, forecasts, budgets, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
