Medical Assistant — Specialty Care

The Medical Assistant works onsite in Aurora, Colorado, with support for clinical operations across locations as needed. Pay is $22–$26 per hour. Power Health Colorado is a multidisciplinary healthcare organization providing physical medicine and rehabilitation, pain management, physical therapy, chiropractic care, behavioral health, and injury treatment. The assistant supports providers and patients by preparing rooms and charts, assisting with visits and procedures, coordinating clinical tasks, and maintaining accurate records. The role contributes to efficient patient flow and a welcoming, organized specialty-care environment.

What you'll do

• Room patients, obtain and document vital signs, review histories, and prepare patients for examinations
• assist physicians, physician assistants, and other providers during visits and procedures
• prepare rooms, equipment, instruments, and supplies
• assist with in-office procedures and injections within authorized scope
• provide patient instructions
• prepare charts and verify histories, medications, allergies, records, imaging, and specialist documentation
• document in the electronic medical record
• coordinate orders, testing, referrals, and follow-up
• support patient flow, inventory, infection prevention, and clean clinical areas
• travel between clinic locations when needed.
