Job overview

The Research Technician — Tissue Processing and Cell Culture role is onsite in Redwood City, CA, with compensation of $75,000–$95,000 per year. The technician keeps sample workflows moving by processing tissues, coordinating time-sensitive work with the in vivo team, and supporting cell-culture workflows. • coordinate with the in vivo team to handle preclinical study materials promptly and correctly
  • support media preparation, media changes, and cell-culture maintenance for iPSC/iHSC differentiation workflows, including weekend coverage as part of a team rotation
  • assist with sample preparation and handoff for downstream assays including flow cytometry
  • help organize readout datasets with the compbio team
  • maintain sample labels, culture logs, inventory, and reagent tracking
  • contribute to SOPs and process improvements
