What you'll do

• Establish and maintain relationships with real estate professionals and builders
• meet with potential borrowers about mortgage needs
• present mortgage products and services
• complete applications and analyze financial and credit data
• lock rates according to company and regulatory guidelines
• prepare or request loan documentation
• coordinate with centralized processing on attorney and appraisal work
• communicate loan status to borrowers
• maintain knowledge of lending programs, policies, procedures, and regulations
• service in-house and secondary-market loans
• answer client questions and resolve problems
• assist with billing and collections
• monitor delinquent payments and follow up with clients
• coordinate with other departments to resolve account issues.
