The Lead Montessori Teacher, Primary Classroom (Ages 3–6) role is onsite in Elkridge, MD. Compensation is $18–$22 per hour. The teacher supports Alphabets Montessori School’s Primary classroom. The role creates a prepared Montessori environment that supports children’s social, emotional, and academic development while meeting Maryland child care licensing standards. It also guides classroom staff and maintains communication with families about student progress.

What you'll do

• Implement an authentic Montessori curriculum for ages 3–6
• prepare and maintain the classroom
• observe, document, and assess development
• create individualized learning plans
• guide behavior using positive guidance and Montessori principles
• mentor assistant teachers and support staff
• communicate with families
• maintain health, safety, and supervision standards
• complete lesson plans and progress reports
• participate in meetings and professional development
• support program transitions.
