The Prep Cook — Restaurant and Events role is onsite in Andover, NJ, with pay of $22–$24 per hour. The position supports the Crossed Keys Inn kitchen team in a local restaurant business. The cook prepares and portions food before cooking, cooks menu items, and completes plating and garnish preparation to support consistent food quality and kitchen service. Availability Wednesday through Saturday is required.

What you'll do

• Prepare menu items for cooking
• portion food to recipe specifications
• cook using kitchen equipment
• maintain product quality and station stock
• keep workstations and equipment clean and sanitary
• prepare items for cooking
• follow plate presentation and garnish standards
• handle, store, and rotate products
• assist with food preparation and kitchen closing.
