The Exhibitions Fabrication Specialist works onsite in Los Angeles, CA, at the Academy Museum. Compensation is $27.88–$28.85 per hour. The role supports the Academy’s Exhibitions department. This position helps prepare and maintain museum exhibitions by fabricating casework, artifact mounts, installation materials, and scenic elements, while coordinating with exhibition designers and external fabricators.

What you'll do

• Fabricate exhibition casework, object mounts, installation materials, and other projects
• develop technical drawings
• assist with project schedules and cost estimates
• maintain shop space, tools, and inventory
• coordinate with Exhibition Design and external fabricators
• support mock-ups and exhibition rotations.
