Quality Resident Engineer / Automotive Liaison

The Quality Resident Engineer / Automotive Liaison role is onsite at the GM plant in Fort Wayne, IN. Compensation is $22–$24 per hour for a part-time opening estimated at 15 hours per week. TRIGO provides operational quality-management services to manufacturing industries, including automotive and aerospace. The role works to prevent formal customer claims through preventive and corrective actions, maintaining communication between the customer and OEM and helping resolve quality issues before they escalate.

What you'll do

• Build customer relationships and represent TRIGO professionally
• maintain communication between customer and OEM
• identify problems and coordinate corrective actions
• update customers on claim status
• attend meetings as needed
• provide reports and updates
• support new builds, launches, testing, and engineering changes
• coordinate customer-approved sorting and repair work
• apply automotive quality standards, including TS 16949.
