What you'll do

• Prepare and cook lunch and snacks according to approved menus and nutritional guidelines
• portion and deliver meals to classrooms on time
• create monthly menus
• prepare grocery and supply lists
• receive and store food deliveries
• wash dishes and kitchen equipment
• maintain kitchen sanitation
• monitor food temperatures and records
• follow childcare licensing, CACFP, and health department requirements
• assist with special events and additional food preparation as needed.
