Diesel Mechanic This is an onsite position in Mount Laurel, NJ. The pay is $35.60 per hour. This role is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Greyhound's fleet of diesel-powered buses to ensure safety and reliability.

What you'll do

• Deliver high-quality routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines and coach-related components of over-the-road buses.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Repair or replace defective parts, including engines, transmissions, and brakes.
• Maintain accurate records of all service work performed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols.
• Communicate clearly with drivers, dispatch, and the maintenance manager regarding vehicle status and repair timelines.
• Stay up to date on the latest diesel engine technologies and repair techniques.

What we're looking for

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Experience

2+ years of professional experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably on buses, trucks, or heavy-duty vehicles
