The Sinker Electrical Discharge Machining Applications Engineer Intern role is onsite in Elk Grove Village, IL, and pays $18 per hour. Compensation is $18 per hour. MC Machinery Systems develops manufacturing capabilities using advanced equipment and modeling software. The intern works alongside the Applications team to build skills in applications engineering. The role supports customer production by helping develop processes, render machine parts, learn machine programming and operation, and assist with demonstrations.

What you'll do

• Use CAD/CAM software to render machine parts for machine programming
• learn machine programming and operation
• become familiar with sales processes and demonstration procedures
• perform showroom maintenance, including cleaning machines for customer demonstrations.
