The Preschool Teacher Assistant role is onsite in Olympia, WA. Compensation is $17.15–$22.30 per hour. Working under the School Director and classroom leadership, the assistant supports daily classroom activities and curriculum implementation. The role helps maintain a safe, nurturing, engaging environment that responds to children’s physical, social, emotional, developmental, and behavioral needs, including needs addressed by IEPs.

What you'll do

• Support a positive and respectful classroom
• greet children and families
• assist with individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including following IEPs and behavioral support plans as directed
• help plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs
• communicate with families, coworkers, and leadership using approved tools
• follow safety and supervision procedures
• document and report incidents
• participate in required meetings, training, and professional development.
