Certified Medication Technician (CMT)

What you'll do

• Provide resident care consistent with safety and comfort policies
• administer physician-ordered and PRN medications under licensed-nurse supervision
• apply the five rights of medication administration
• record medications and treatments
• notify licensed staff of pain complaints, reactions, side effects, condition changes, and unusual incidents
• take and record vital signs when assigned or required
• answer call lights and make rounds under nurse supervision
• use the computer system for resident information.
