The Accountant supports accurate, compliant financial operations by reviewing and classifying transactions, assisting with close and audit work, supporting grant reporting and payroll review, and maintaining accounting controls, policies, and procedures.

What you'll do

• Review, balance, and classify revenue and expenditures
• audit entries and documents for accuracy and proper coding
• review accounts, financial summaries, and statements
• assist with month-end closing, external audits, grant reporting, and payroll processing review
• support internal controls and fraud prevention
• train and support accounting staff as applicable
• maintain vendor online bill-pay accounts
• assist with financial policies, controls, and reporting procedures.
