The Machining Operations Supervisor is an onsite role in Orchard Park, NY. The schedule is first shift, 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m., Monday–Friday. Annual salary is $70,000–$110,000, DOE. McGard manufactures precision-engineered automotive security products and components. The supervisor oversees daily machining operations and production equipment to support efficient, cost-effective output. The role guides employees and lead people, monitors production and setups, supports training and continuous improvement, coordinates schedules and equipment needs, and works with other departments to maintain production flow and departmental performance.

What you'll do

• Supervise department activities, production, setups, attendance, and employee development
• train lead people on cycle-time and setup-time reduction, tool use, and inventory accountability
• review machine utilization
• assist with production scheduling, tooling, setups, and layouts
• track orders through blanking operations
• ensure machine maintenance
• research equipment and coordinate purchases and delivery
• oversee corrective actions
• maintain schedules and work instructions
• support budgets
• coordinate machine repairs with vendors
• and provide cycle-time estimates for new projects.
