What you'll do
- Coordinate and complete MDS assessments within regulatory timeframes
- ensure RAI/MDS compliance
- review clinical records and supporting documentation
- monitor completion and submission deadlines
- identify discrepancies and documentation gaps
- collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- monitor Medicare admissions, discharges, and coverage
- review skilled-care documentation and reimbursement processes
- support audits and surveys
- educate staff on MDS, RAI, Medicare, documentation, and reimbursement requirements.
