The Machine Operator 1 role is onsite in Oak Grove, LA, with a stated regular schedule of 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Compensation is not specified. Cornerstone Building Brands manufactures exterior building products, and the site supports metal building solutions. The operator supports manufacturing and customer orders by completing work safely, accurately, and on time. The role includes equipment inspections and preventive maintenance, quality and safety checks, inventory handling, and maintaining an organized work area; overtime and weekend work may be needed on short notice.

What you'll do

• Complete manufacturing support assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, and on time
• perform routine preventive maintenance and daily equipment inspections
• inspect materials, products, machinery, tools, and equipment for quality and safety
• assist with inventory updates and movement
• maintain a clean, organized, safe work area
• follow OSHA and company safety and quality procedures
• use applicable personal protective equipment.

Why this role
