Customer Service Representative – Water Billing

Job overview

The Customer Service Representative – Water Billing role is onsite in Laurel, MS, with compensation of $16–$18 per hour. H2O Innovation provides public works management and operations assistance for water and wastewater treatment plants. The representative helps residents resolve utility billing and service questions, process payments, and maintain account records. Accurate, courteous support helps residents manage water accounts and supports municipal utility operations.

What you'll do

• Respond to inquiries about water bills, payment options, balances, and discrepancies
• process payments and maintain customer records
• assist with billing adjustments, payment arrangements, and account updates
• research and resolve billing concerns and complaints
• explain rates, fees, charges, and procedures
• assist with service connections, disconnections, and account changes
• document customer interactions and account activity
• protect confidential information.
