The Part-Time Adoption Counselor – Flexible Hours role is onsite in New York, NY. Pay is $21 per hour. What you'll do

• Guide adopters through the adoption process and help identify suitable matches
• socialize and interact with dogs, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs
• process adoption paperwork and payments
• escort clients to view animals
• review applications and interview prospective adopters
• conduct reference checks as needed
• respond to adoption inquiries
• provide post-adoption follow-up
• prepare animals for departure using low-stress techniques
• support adoption events and community outreach when needed
• clean and organize adoption areas.
