What you'll do

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of exterior courtyards, building perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, documenting security-related incidents, unusual conditions, and patrol findings in required reports.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment, including authorized firearms, in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, company policy, and site procedures.
