Low Voltage, Fire Alarm and Security Estimator

Job overview

The Low Voltage, Fire Alarm and Security Estimator role is remote, with some travel to Lowell, AR, for meetings or to a local office as required by customers. Pay is $24–$40 per hour. Wachter designs, installs, and maintains electrical, data, security, communications, and automation technologies for commercial and industrial clients. The estimator prepares bids for commercial security and alarm projects by reviewing bid documents, completing takeoffs, and developing bid sheets and proposals. The role works with project managers and suppliers to produce accurate bids and maintain professional standards in customer and coworker interactions.
