What you'll do

• Direct assigned technicians and oversee their work
• ensure timely completion of aircraft maintenance repairs and inspections
• monitor inspection and repair progress
• confirm personnel are qualified for assigned duties
• manage work quality and quantity
• provide on-the-job instruction on technical information, procedures, safety, and shop and hangar practices
• process required paperwork
• maintain clean and orderly hangar and shop areas
• schedule maintenance activities
• call an inspector for final inspection when required.
