What you'll do

• Take full responsibility of the shift in terms of management of staff, management of production and quality targets.
• Drive production efficiency and quality to ensure first pass goals are met or exceeded.
• Assist Department Manager with optimizing labor utilization.
• Monitor and assess production personnel operating proficiency and efficiency.
• Support company safety awareness and incentives.
• Take an active role in the company’s continuous improvement.
• Oversee proper completion of all required documentation and records.
• Work closely with other Shift Supervisors and departments.
• Positively manage, develop, and motivate subordinate leaders and direct reports.
• Administer any employee counseling or disciplinary actions.
