Mechanical Estimator, Commercial HVAC and Plumbing

What you'll do

• Prepare detailed estimates for commercial HVAC, plumbing, piping, and sheet metal projects
• perform quantity takeoffs and build bills of materials using estimating software
• review plans and specifications
• solicit and level vendor and subcontractor quotes
• prepare scope letters, qualifications, and bid proposals
• support value engineering and design-build budgeting
• hand awarded jobs to project management with a schedule of values and buyout plan.
