The Clerk-Lab Assistant / Courier role is onsite in Norman, OK, and pays $16.72–$27.30 per hour, depending on previous work experience. The role combines laboratory support, patient registration, specimen collection, and related service tasks to help the laboratory process patient needs accurately and safely. It also supports outreach operations by maintaining required information, supplies, and communication with patients and clients.

What you'll do

• Conduct admission interviews and registration
• verify Medicare, insurance, and managed-care requirements
• respond to patient inquiries
• collect blood and other specimens following established procedures and safety requirements
• perform outpatient diagnostic electrocardiograms and therapeutic INR quality-control and testing procedures
• collect and process urine
• assist in the laboratory
• maintain supplies and knowledge of insurance and Medicare requirements.
