The Veterinary Assistant role is onsite in Charlotte, NC, with compensation starting at $19 per hour based on experience. Cotswold Animal Hospital’s mission is to provide high-quality medicine personalized for each patient and help clients feel comfortable with their pets’ healthcare decisions. The assistant supports veterinarians and hospital operations across front desk, exam and treatment rooms, surgery, dentistry, and radiology. The work contributes to compassionate patient care through animal handling, procedure assistance, patient monitoring, record keeping, equipment care, and maintaining hospital organization.

What you'll do

• Support veterinarians in providing care to patients and owners
• assist across front desk, exam and treatment rooms, surgery, dentistry, and radiology
• communicate with and educate clients
• handle and restrain animals
• prepare for and assist with surgery and dental procedures
• monitor patients
• maintain records
• care for instruments and equipment
• maintain cleanliness and organization
• support pharmacy and inventory control.
