Engineering Technician — Avionics Integration

The Engineering Technician role is onsite at Naval Air Station Patuxent River in St. Mary’s County, MD. The starting salary range is $100,000 to $130,000 annually. The role supports Don Selvy Enterprises’ engineering, training, and program-management work for military aviation and maritime capabilities. The technician provides technical management and coordination for development, integration, testing, and sustainment of the Marine Air-Ground Networked Layer across Marine Corps aviation platforms. The work aligns requirements, schedules, and integration efforts among program offices, engineering teams, operational stakeholders, and other partners to support resilient communications capabilities.

What you'll do

• Provide technical oversight for avionics development, integration, analysis, testing, and sustainment
• coordinate requirements, schedules, and operational constraints with platform teams
• identify integration risks and recommend mitigations
• support design reviews, system evaluations, and aircraft-environment testing
• assess hardware and software integration feasibility
• coordinate across Integrated Product Teams, NAVAIR, DoD organizations, contractors, and fleet stakeholders
• and provide status updates and technical recommendations to program leadership.
