The director leads nursing operations and operational oversight in a freestanding emergency care setting, supporting safe, timely care and effective department performance. The role contributes by developing staff, coordinating priorities with hospital leadership, monitoring patient flow and quality, and identifying process improvements.

What you'll do

• Lead nursing operations and support safe, timely emergency care
• develop staff and communicate expectations
• coordinate operational priorities with the Associate Chief Nursing Officer and hospital leadership
• monitor staffing, patient flow, care quality, and department performance
• support collaboration among emergency providers, nurses, and hospital teams
• oversee nursing workflows involving point-of-care laboratory testing
• identify opportunities to improve processes, staff readiness, and patient experience.
