The Senior Project Manager, Control Account Manager role is onsite at the Nevada National Security Site, approximately 65 miles northwest of Las Vegas, NV. Annual salary is $100,755.20–$151,132.80. Mission Support and Test Services manages and operates the Nevada National Security Sites in support of national security missions. The role manages cost, schedule, and technical performance for assigned project scope within the 413.B Line-Item capital project. It coordinates project teams and stakeholders through planning, execution, monitoring, change control, and closeout to deliver defined work within cost, schedule, risk, and quality constraints.

What you'll do

• Manage small projects under $5 million total project cost across their lifecycle
• manage control accounts within 413.B projects
• define, plan, execute, monitor, control, and complete scope
• manage schedule, cost, risk, and quality
• communicate with stakeholders
• develop risk mitigation strategies and administer management reserve
• apply project management practices
• conduct cost-benefit analysis
• interface with senior management
• support change-control reviews and baseline change requests.

Why this role

Work schedule is four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday, subject to change. Must be able to obtain a DOE Q-level security clearance and achieve internal base-level project manager certification or higher within one year.
