Lead Toddler Teacher

The Lead Toddler Teacher position is onsite in Laurel, MT. The posting lists pay of $16–$18 per hour. The teacher reports to the Director and supports children and families at Sunshine Academy. The lead teacher implements developmentally appropriate curriculum, supervises assistant teachers and floaters, and provides direct care, guidance, and supervision to children. What you'll do

• Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and positive classroom management
• supervise assistant teachers and floaters
• provide direct care, protection, supervision, and guidance
• maintain teacher-child ratios and safety protocols
• support toileting, diapering, hygiene, and rest routines
• document incidents, behaviors, concerns, and delays
• maintain classroom records and supplies
• implement the Frogstreet curriculum and Montana Early Learning Standards
• communicate with parents and the Director
• maintain licensing and health requirements
• keep classroom and facility areas clean and safe.

Why this role

Requires Level 2 on the Practitioner Registry or qualifying early-childhood experience, education, or certification; current CPR/AED and first aid certifications; current ECP Practitioner Registry status; and ability to lift 45 pounds. Annual training is required.
