Senior Intensive Outpatient Program Therapist, Per Diem

The Senior Intensive Outpatient Program Therapist role is onsite in Bellevue, WA, and is temporary per diem work scheduled for September 2026 through April 2027, with 10–20 hours guaranteed during that period and possible hours afterward. Pay is $137.50 per hour. THIRA Health’s intensive outpatient program provides therapy to patients with eating disorders, mood disorders, and other emotional regulation concerns. The therapist provides individual and group therapy using a Dialectical Behavior Therapy framework, delivers crisis intervention, develops and updates treatment plans, and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team on progress and discharge planning. The role also requires timely clinical documentation and participation in the DBT Consultation Team.

What you'll do

• Provide individual and group DBT therapy to adults and adolescents
• deliver crisis intervention, suicide risk assessment and management, safety planning, de-escalation, and conflict mediation
• coordinate family involvement
• collaborate on treatment and discharge planning
• create and update behavioral treatment plans
• complete clinical documentation in the electronic medical record
• prepare treatment summaries and assess progress and discharge barriers
• contribute to the DBT Consultation Team.

Why this role

Requires a master’s degree in a related therapy field, Washington State independent licensure, at least two years of therapy experience, and CBT and/or DBT training and experience. Evening, night, weekend, and holiday availability may be needed.
