What you'll do

• Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment
• prepare and maintain dental instruments, materials, and equipment
• take and process X-rays
• assist the dentist chairside
• advise patients on oral hygiene and dental care
• follow infection-control, cleaning, and sterilization procedures
• maintain tray setup and materials.
