The Tumbling Instructor role is onsite in Hyde Park, MA. Pay is $17.87–$22 per hour. The YMCA of Greater Boston role supports youth programming through safe, engaging gymnastics and tumbling classes for participants ages 4–12, or as designated. The instructor prepares structured lessons, adapts activities to participants’ ages and skill levels, reinforces safety, and helps youth build skills and confidence in a supportive environment aligned with YMCA values.

What you'll do

• Instruct weekly gymnastics and/or tumbling classes for youth
• prepare and deliver structured lesson plans aligned with YMCA program standards
• monitor student behavior and reinforce safety procedures
• maintain a clean and organized activity space and properly store equipment
• communicate with parents or guardians when appropriate
• support special events, session transitions, and promotional activities when needed
• report incidents, injuries, and facility or equipment concerns
• attend required meetings and training.

Why this role
