What you'll do

• Excavate work areas with hand tools
• analyze job locations for utilities, permits, and traffic control
• install fiber, cable, and duct underground and in trenches
• follow foreman direction
• perform equipment safety checks and minor repairs
• dig holes, set handholes and pedestals, and place duct to poles
• follow safety and quality procedures
• communicate with field team members
• maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles
• load and unload equipment safely.
