The Patient Financial Specialist role is onsite in Littleton, CO. Compensation is $20–$23 per hour. OnPoint Medical Group is a physician-led primary and urgent care network focused on expanding access to quality healthcare and coordinating services through its “Circle of Care.” The specialist manages patient collections, payment plans, disputes, and bankruptcy accounts while coordinating with collection agencies. Accurate account handling and respectful communication support the organization’s financial operations and its patient-centered service approach.

What you'll do

• Contact patients about outstanding balances and establish, manage, and monitor payment plans
• maintain patient accounts in collection-agency software
• resolve collection disputes and coordinate with agencies
• handle credit-card disputes
• track bankruptcy accounts and update cases in Athenahealth
• follow HIPAA, OSHA, PCI DSS, and billing-compliance requirements
• maintain confidentiality and accurate records
• provide customer service and administrative support.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least five years of healthcare collections experience, and at least two years of billing experience. Athenahealth experience and bilingual ability are preferred.
