Junior Cybersecurity SecOps Administrator

Job overview

The Junior Cybersecurity SecOps Administrator role is onsite in Quantico, VA. Compensation is not specified. Geospatial and Cloud Analytics provides information technology and audiovisual integration services to customers, including government contract support. The administrator maintains security infrastructure and performs day-to-day cybersecurity operations. The role helps protect systems by applying security baselines, remediating vulnerabilities, maintaining servers, and documenting operational work.

What you'll do

• Implement STIG releases across operating systems and applications
• track and remediate IAVM vulnerabilities
• manage ACAS vulnerability reports
• install software, patches, and firmware upgrades
• troubleshoot operating system, hardware, network, and software issues
• maintain SCAP and STIG requirements
• configure virtual servers using vSphere
• create shell scripts to automate tasks
• document work, maintain standard operating procedures, and brief staff and customers. Requires DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, an active Secret clearance to start, eligibility for Top Secret/SCI, seven or more years of systems administration experience, and a bachelor’s degree or additional experience in lieu of the degree.
