The Special Education Teacher – One-on-One Child Development role is onsite in Laredo, TX, with work in a child’s home, school, daycare, or community. Pay is $21–$30 per hour based on experience. Bright Pathways provides individualized developmental services to children and families throughout Texas. The role provides individualized teaching and support to help a child build communication, social, emotional, behavioral, and daily living skills. The teacher uses child-centered activities and individualized goals, with ongoing guidance from supervisors, to support greater independence and participation in everyday life.

What you'll do

• Provide one-on-one support to a child in home, school, daycare, or community settings
• help develop communication, social, emotional, behavioral, and daily living skills
• practice community skills
• create engaging learning opportunities through play and other activities
• work toward individualized goals with supervisor guidance.
