What you'll do

• Maintain, repair, splice, and test cable in underground, aerial, buried, and building environments
• test and turn up subscriber lines
• locate, join, repair, and rearrange cable and equipment
• install and maintain residential and small-business POTS, Prism, Fiber, and DSL service
• connect wires and cables to terminals, frames, buildings, and poles
• perform continuity and conformance testing
• interpret service orders, drawings, maps, and diagrams
• communicate courteously with customers.
