Shelter Receptionist

What you'll do

• Maintain familiarity with community resources and collaborative partners
• encourage guests to engage with services that promote housing stability
• answer calls and provide shelter information
• document bed reservation requests
• direct calls and messages
• maintain a calm tone with callers in crisis
• receive and sort resident mail
• document and store donations and deliveries
• provide donation receipts
• perform data entry, filing, and log updates
• maintain a welcoming reception area
• assist with shelter projects, fundraising tasks, tours, events, and activities as needed.

Why this role
