What you'll do

• Manage transportation department operations
• support personnel training and development
• monitor performance, safety, costs, efficiency, equipment, and compliance
• coordinate planning, dispatching, routing, and tracking
• ensure fleet tools and training support safe operations
• maintain licenses, registrations, insurance, and inspections to DOT standards
• coordinate vehicle repairs and maintenance
• oversee FMCSA driver file compliance
• optimize fuel efficiency
• conduct driver safety training and monthly meetings
• and forecast transportation capacity to support material flow.
