The Underground Shotcrete Nozzleman role is onsite at a mine site 65 miles outside Elko, NV, on a 14-days-on/14-days-off rotation with minimum 12-hour days. Pay is $38 per hour, and camp and meals are provided. The role supports Barminco’s underground mining operations and mine-site ground support. The nozzleman operates shotcrete equipment to apply material to underground headings, backs, and walls according to ground-support designs. Safe, accurate application and equipment care help support underground development and mining operations.

What you'll do

• Operate a Normet Spraymec MF050 to mix, transport, and apply shotcrete
• prepare and inspect equipment
• control spray thickness and coverage
• monitor material quality
• clean and maintain equipment
• follow mine-site safety rules and PPE requirements
• assist with underground infrastructure installation and repairs
• perform assigned ground-support and mine-advance duties
• document work and equipment checks
• report problems to the shift supervisor
• maintain housekeeping and professional working relationships.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2–5 years of underground mining experience including shotcreting, experience with mechanized shotcrete machines and batch plant operation, and ability to operate mobile mixers. Camp and meals are provided.
