The Restaurant Shift Leader role is onsite in Katy, TX. Compensation is $13.50–$15.50 per hour, with tip sharing that can add up to $2 per hour. The role supports Smashburger’s restaurant team in delivering better burgers, service, and guest experiences. Reporting to the Restaurant General Manager, the Shift Leader guides front- and back-of-house employees and oversees daily restaurant operations. The role helps maintain food safety and service standards, develop team members, manage labor and inventory processes, and support a positive guest experience.

What you'll do

• Manage front- and back-of-house employee performance
• promote a positive work environment
• train and onboard employees
• recognize strong performance
• complete operational checklists, line checks, opening and closing checklists, and safe and deposit logs. Monitor guest experience metrics and food safety standards, follow food ordering and inventory procedures, apply cash policies, and manage daily labor.
