CAD Draftsman

The CAD Draftsman role is onsite in Cincinnati, OH. Pay is $25–$35 per hour. The position supports Steelial Construction & Metal Fabrication’s structural steel, fabrication, and specialty equipment projects, including food-production and food-grade facility work. The draftsman creates accurate 2D fabrication drawings and 3D models, helping engineering, fabrication, and project management teams deliver designs that meet client requirements and food-safety standards. The role maintains drawing accuracy and coordinates fabrication needs throughout the project lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Create 3D models and 2D fabrication drawings using Autodesk Inventor
• prepare assembly drawings, bills of materials, part sheets, and cut lists
• draft food-industry equipment layouts and custom components
• apply food-safety design standards
• revise drawings based on feedback
• coordinate with shop personnel
• prepare project submittal documentation.
