Assistant Center Manager

Job overview

The Assistant Center Manager role is onsite in Concord, NC, with a schedule of approximately 40 hours per week, typically four weekdays and one weekend day. Compensation is $18–$22 per hour. KidStrong’s curriculum focuses on children’s brain, physical, and character development. The role exists to support center leadership, sales, and member retention while ensuring children and families have a positive experience. It combines coaching classes with center operations, sales support, staff development, and manager-on-duty coverage when the General Manager is away.

What you'll do

• Coach children from crawling age to about 11 using the KidStrong curriculum, support safe technique, and help roll out programming.
• Support sales and membership goals, convert trial classes and parent conversations into memberships, and schedule and sell camps, parties, and events.
• Monitor center KPIs and financials, maintain the facility, communicate schedule changes, serve as manager on duty when the General Manager is off, and support coach onboarding, training, and performance evaluation.
