Executive Director, Human Services Coalition

Job overview

The Executive Director role is hybrid, based in Illinois with office space available in Chicago, IL and flexibility to work from different parts of the state. The salary range is $130,000 to $160,000 per year. Illinois Partners for Human Service is a statewide coalition of approximately 850 health and human service organizations working toward a stronger, more stable, and equitable sector. As the organization’s chief executive, public representative, coalition builder, and senior advocate, the Executive Director works with the Board, staff, partners, policymakers, funders, and community leaders to advance the organization’s mission. The role sets priorities and supports policy advocacy, organizational development, and the coalition’s collective voice.

• Serve as chief executive, public representative, coalition builder, and senior advocate
• work with the Board to establish organizational priorities, allocate resources, and pursue revenue generation and portfolio diversification
• build relationships across Illinois
• engage legislators and government leaders
• represent the human services sector in policy conversations
• and lead the organization’s next phase of development.

Why this role
