What you'll do

• Greet patients, families, and guests
• provide escorts and wheelchair assistance when applicable
• verify demographic information and process registration, payments, signatures, and forms
• enter pre-certification, authorization, and insurance verification
• research and resolve pending authorizations
• calculate cash estimates
• communicate with patients and insurance companies
• obtain prior authorization
• scan medical documents into patient accounts
• follow HIPAA and patient-rights policies.
