Laser Operator — 2D & 5-Axis

The Laser Operator — 2D & 5-Axis role is onsite in Concord, NC; compensation is not specified. The role supports Technique’s NASCAR operations by cutting and trimming parts for chassis, components, and assemblies used in prototype and low-volume production.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate 2D flat-sheet and 5-axis laser systems
• load material and verify machine parameters
• create and optimize CNC/CAM programs and nests
• fixture and trim formed parts and tubing
• inspect first pieces and in-process parts using precision measuring tools and CMM reports
• troubleshoot cut quality and dimensional issues
• perform routine preventive maintenance
• document production runs
• follow laser safety, lockout/tagout, and PPE requirements
• and support and train operators.
